Collaboration resources:

Padlet – Padlet is an Internet application that allows people to express their thoughts on a common topic easily. It works like an online sheet of paper where people can put any content (e.g. images, videos, documents, text) anywhere on the page, together with anyone, from any device.

Create resources:

Animoto – is a cloud-based video creation service that produces video from photos, video clips, and music into video slideshows.[

Fakebook – “Fakebook” allows teachers and students to create imaginary profile pages for study purposes.

Livebinder – Physical 3-ring binders used to be the easiest way to organize all your educational resources. But now so much of what you want to organize is online. LiveBinders not only replaces the old 3-ring binder, but also opens up new opportunities for collaborating, organizing, and sharing that were never possible before.

Timeglider -Web-based timeline software for creating and sharing history, project planning and more …Create, collaborate, and publish zooming and panning interactive timelines. It’s like Google Maps, but for time.

ToonDoo – World’s fastest way to create cartoon strips.

Wordle –  is a toy for generating “word clouds” from text that you provide. The clouds give greater prominence to words that appear more frequently in the source 

Prezi – Web-based presentation software and storytelling tool for exploring and sharing ideas on a virtual canvas.

Research Resources:

Creative Commons – Creative Commons is a nonprofit organization that enables the sharing and use of creativity and knowledge through free legal tools.

Flickr-Creative Commons – Almost certainly the best online photo management and sharing application in the world – has two main goals1. We want to help people make their photos available to the people who matter to them2. We want to enable new ways of organizing photos and video.

Delicious – is a free service designed with care to be the best place to save what you love on the web. We keep your stuff safe so it’s there when you need it – always. Delicious remembers so you don’t have to. It’s easy to build up a collection of links, essentially creating your own personal search engine. It’s quick to organize your links so that when you’re looking for something, you can find it within seconds.

Easy Bib – Automatically formats, alphabetize, and prints bibliographies for free

Quizlet – Simple tools that help you study anything for free.

Socrative – Socrative is a smart student response system that empowers teachers to engage their classrooms through a series of educational exercises and games via smartphones, laptops, and tablets.
